The Ingolf Dahl papers contain the manuscripts, scores, and professional and personal papers of American composer and USC School of Music faculty member Ingolf Dahl (1912-1970). Dahl, one of USC's most distinguished faculty members, had a long and successful career in music both here in his adopted country and abroad. This small scrapbook contains clippings, from December 1914 to March 1915, documenting the controversy over lack of regulation of "jitney" buses in Los Angeles. Many of the clippings come from the Los Angeles Times, the Express, the Tribune, and the Examiner, and are identified as such in pencil or ink annotations, along with dates (often without year). The Ersey O'Brien scrapbooks consists of two ledger format spiral binders containing green bar computer paper that has been repurposed as scrapbook pages. The scrapbooks, one entitled "My friends" and the other "High School Memories," contain clippings and printed ephemera that document the activities of Jefferson High School alumni in Los Angeles from the 1950s through the 1980s.
